☠️ FINAL FRAGMENT
"This is your last card... and the game has already begun."
The fire crackles softly.
The old man stares into the flames for a long while before speaking.
His voice is calm—like someone who’s told this story many times, but never quite the same way.
See that card?
Everyone wakes up with one.
Doesn’t matter where you came from, or what you did before.
When you wake up here… it’s already in your hands.
No one gives it to you.
No one tells you what it means.
But sooner or later, you’ll understand.
It’s not a map.
It’s not a memory.
It’s what remains.
At first it feels harmless—cold, empty.
But then it starts filling up.
With what you do.
With what you choose.
With what you're willing to lose.
There are no safe roads.
The world is broken.
Not like glass—loud and sudden.
But like a thread… slowly unraveling.
There are paths. Twisted, ancient.
Some seem to lead somewhere.
Others exist only to see how much you can endure.
And the things that live out there...
Some were once human.
At least, that’s what the ones who still remember say.
I walked those paths.
Filled my card with things I’d rather not name.
And I found no happy ending at the end of the trail.
Only more choices. More weight. More change.
Silence. Only the fire breathes between them.
They say that if someone crosses it all without breaking,
the card reveals its true face.
…I don’t have that kind of faith.
But if you’re going to try—
keep the fire close.
The darkness out there…
it’s not just the absence of light.
Final Fragment is a dark fantasy roguelike where you don’t play the hero—
You are the last cursed card, drawn in the twilight of a forgotten deck.
Each choice is a scar.
Each path a wound.
Each battle a whisper from the void.
Will you defy your fate… or become part of the ruin?
